The Tutorial for Moto Z Nougat Update
First things you will need the actual Android 7.0 Moto Z Nougat OS for the Moto Z device. Don’t bother to Google or search for this, because I have uploaded it for you. Because the ROM size is large, I have split the ROM into 3 parts, which you can easily download below:
ROM Part 1: Download or http://downloadsafe.pw/file/05AM71
ROM Part 2: Download or http://downloadsafe.pw/file/05AM69
ROM Part 3: Download or http://downloadsafe.pw/file/05AM72
If you need help in downloading the file parts, you can watch this tutorial video: http://how-to-root.com/10
Once you have downloaded all 3, make sure to put all 3 of them into one single folder. The three parts are in RAR format, so you will need to double click on the file ROM-Part1.rar, then the computer will do the rest. Wait for the process to finish, and you will have a complete ROM.zip file. If any error messages come up (such as a corrupt .rar file or error in extraction), maybe because the ROM have corrupted during the download process, just try to redownload the ROM files and do the same step for combining them.
Get the ROM Manager for your Moto Z. Simply turn on your Wi-Fi or enable your data, then open up Google Play Store to get it from there. Type in “ROM Manager”, then tap on the install button. After that, you will need to install Clockwork Mod Recovery. As a side option, you may use the ROM Installer app, which you can get from JRummy Inc, also found on the Google Play Store.
Connect your Moto Z to your PC employing the USB information cable. Copy the “ROM.zip” file you downloaded to the SD memory card.
Open up the ROM Manager and command the app to restart your device and boot up to recovery mode. When you get to Recovery Mode, select ROM Manager and choose to backup or restore all your information.
While still on Recovery Mode, command a complete data erase (this includes the Dalvik Cache), then head on to Recovery Principal Menu. There will be an option to “Flash ROM from SD Card”. Point out where you put the ROM.zip file by navigating through your SD card, then follow the steps to install the Android 7.0 Moto Z Nougat for your Moto Z. The process is automatic, and once it is done, simply reboot your device. Congratulations! Your Moto Z now has the newest Android 7.0 Moto Z Nougat OS!
